JOB TITLE: Program Coordinator

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Temporary Full-time (2 Years)

HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours per week

SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, organizing and administration of the Mobile Resiliency Program. The program is aimed at providing recreational activities and support services to youth in rural areas impacted by wildfires, resulting in increased resiliency, protection, and well-being. This position will work closely with the Mobile Youth Navigator.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A diploma in the Human Service Field or relevant education and experience
2. Good written and verbal communication skills, good computer skills including the use of email, internet and Microsoft Office
3. Ability to work with the demands of a diverse team environment and cross-cultural settings
4. Effective interpersonal communication skills
5. Must possess and maintain a valid BC driver’s license
6. Current Pediatric First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
7. Must have own reliable vehicle suitable for travel
8. Current satisfactory criminal record check required
